Torsion sockets are suitable for tightening wheel bolts and nuts of passenger cars with impact wrenches. The long and narrow waist absorbs torsional forces and thus limits the torque of the impact wrench. No more overtightened wheel bolts! The final tightening should be done and checked with a torque wrench.
